Amsterdam

Having survived the night and morning after The Hellish But Wholly Hilarious Ride to Sluis we have touched down in Amsterdam. 

Feeling pretty flash right now seeing as how we're staying in a Hotel - Qbic, to be exact. For some reason, all the hostels were fully booked and/or incredibly expensive, so much so in fact that this 3 star hotel was cheaper than hostels with a 70% rating on HostelWorld.com 

Our room is kinda cool, a little funky and a HUGE tv (maybe not as big as a certain computer-knowledgeable friend we know, from whom we have acquired copious amounts of digital television files) but there's not a lot of light or a door on the bathroom. but that's ok because the computer's out here in the common area and the tv gives off enough light to walk around and watch tv, which is pretty much all we're doing in there anyways until the sun comes up. 

On another note, welcome to the Grandparents who have joined us on this trip. And for those of you still wondering who DH is, he is, of course, my one and only personal Dick Head, or Darling Hubby if he's being nice and giving me chocolate.
