First, let me say Welcome/Bienvenue and Buongiorno to those who have joined DH & I on our Grand Tour of the World, aka Holiday Massif 09 ... I'm still yet to find a better name for it, any suggestions?
We have arrived in Italy! The train ride was... an adventure/experience ;) We shared a carriage with 4 others, similar to in Euro Trip (hahaha). There were 2 French girls, 1 Italian girl who had been in France for 6 months with Erasmus (as in The Spanish Apartment/L'Auberge Espagnole) and one rather annoying Pakistani man... Thankfully, he was a smoker so was outside inthe hallway most of the trip hahah
The first sleeping pill of the trip came in handy, if only to escape snoring and bright lights and talking... ok, so they were reeeaaaaallly useful.
First impressions of Rome so far? Similar to... Bratislava... Yes, another Euro Trip joke :p you can't catch me mwuhahaha
